description
Air sterilization is performed using a UV-C lamp in the sterilization chamber. Contaminated air is sucked into the sterilization chamber via a fan. The air filter prevents the passage of dust and other debris. The strength of the UV-C radiation and the time for which the air passes inside the chamber is such that the air coming out of the lamp is practically free of microorganisms. The value of air flow through the lamps is adjusted to allow maximum destruction efficiency
They are primarily used in medical institutions (operating rooms, intensive care, infectious diseases, maternity hospitals, etc.), then, in rooms where a large number of people gather (waiting rooms, kindergartens, pharmacies, etc.), as well as in processing rooms, production and storage of foodstuffs.
